Every bar of soap we make starts with something taken from the earth — oils pressed from plants, botanicals grown in soil, clays for colour, and water drawn to bring it all together. We've always felt that it is our duty to leave as light a footprint as possible. One of our family's core values is to care for people but never at the expense of the planet.

Our founder, Patti, shares those values, investing a significant part of her revenue re-foresting 5 acres of land in the Atherton Tablelands, Far North Queensland (an eco-sensitive part of the wet tropics). She was also proud to be the first soapmaker in the southern hemisphere to be certified carbon neutral — always ahead of her time.

That's why we have made the decision to join 1% for the Planet.

This means that 1% of every purchase (before costs) — will go straight to high impact, environmental charities vetted by 1% for the Planet. 

We want to make sure that our contribution aligns with your values.

So if there's a cause close to your heart — a reef, a forest, a patch of bushland, something else entirely — we'd love to hear it. And if they are on the 1% for the Planet listed of approved charities, we will seriously consider supporting them.

We've always made soap the slow way — plant oils, pure essential oils and botanicals, ethically sourced, organic where possible, and no nasty chemicals or artificial fragrances. This is simply the next natural step in giving back to vulnerable people, animals and ecosystems.

It's simple, really: We want to make beautiful, natural soap to put a smile on the face of people who share our values. We are incredibly grateful to every single one of our customers for being a part of this journey and helping to care for the Beautiful Planet we all share.
